What We Do

At One Bead, we unlock potential in young students by introducing them to diverse professionals in school, online, and in the community.

Career exploration for

middle schoolers

Central to One Bead's mission is the work we do in schools, providing students in grades 6-8 with opportunities to meet and interact with diverse professionals. By showing students at a young age that there are multiple pathways to success, One Bead empowers youth to realize their full potential in school and beyond.  We believe in a comprehensive approach to impact. Our programming in schools is supplemented by initiatives online and in the community. Learn more about our various programs below.

In today's digital age, connectivity knows no bounds. Through our Virtual Program, known as the Local Leader Spotlight Series, students can engage with leaders of color in Boston from the comfort of their homes.
